At WU Chow, we are passionate about bringing farm-fresh, modern Chinese food to Austin, TX. Our recipes were inspired by Chef Ji Peng Chen who brought traditional recipes of the eight styles of Chinese cuisine, from the fiery flavors of Sichuan to the delicate dishes of Guangdong. We use the freshest ingredients, sourced from local farms, ranches and markets, to create unforgettable dishes that blend our authentic cooking styles with innovative expressions of these cooking styles.

Chef Ji Peng Chen is a master of Sichuan and Cantonese cooking styles with over 40 years of experience as a chef working primarily in New York City’s Chinatown and Queens and now here in Austin, Texas.
